Beware Of Godless ; Devastating Malware To Android Devices

A new highly destructive malware has been discovered and it's prey primarily are devices running on the Android Operating system.
Android OS has over the years been vulnerable to malware attacks and has always been able to build resistant against such malware attacks.
Godless is the latest malware attacking Android OS running devices and
with a name like "Godless", it is quite destructive.
Godless was discovered by Researchers at Trend Micro  and it attacks devices running on Android version 5 (Lollipop) 🍭 and earlier versions.
No recorded attack on Marshmallow running device, as Marshmallow is by far the most secure Android version yet.

Godless attacks devices by :

> Repeatedly downloading and silently installing unwanted apps
> Displaying malicious ads.
> Godless installs backdoor Spyware on Android devices, stealing security information
> Godless gain root access on Android device using a framework called "android-rooting-tools"

Godless finds its way into Android smartphones through malicious applications deployed in legitimate app stores ( Google playstore inclusive) and has at present infected more than 850,000 Android devices.

As an Android user, staying clear of the "Godless" malware is paramount and can be achieved by :
> Reviewing all app developers before downloading an app
> Do not download from unknown developers with very little or no background information
>Download apps only from trusted app stores
> Beware of app market offering paid apps for free
