Nintendo Plans Smartphones And Tablets Game Controllers For Future Rollout

Japan based game console developers, Nintendo may have "controllers for smartphones and tablets" in the works.
This is according to executive, Shinya Takahashi who made claims of this development being considered for the future.
Quoting Takahashi's (Nintendo's general manager of entertainment planning and development) statement on this issue during Nintendo's annual general shareholders meeting :

"Physical controllers for smart device applications are available in the market and it is possible that we may also develop something new by ourselves.
I believe Nintendo's way of thinking is to look at whether action games are really not impossible (without a physical
controller for smart device applications) to create and how we can make it happen to create such a game."

Its nice to see Nintendo making moves, having already launched their first smartphone app i.e Miitomo (chat app), Nintendo are planning to launch four (4) more apps at the very least before the end of March 2017.
One of the yet to be launched app is to be based on the company's Animal Crossing franchise with another app billed to be based on Nintendo's Fire Emblem game series.
