Sony’s PlayStation Now Launch Game Streaming Service For PCs

In what might be a move spelling the end of the Playstation 3 reign, Sony’s PlayStation Now game streaming service is at long last coming to Windows PCs.
The Playstation stream service will allow gamers stream and play more than four hundred (400) PlayStation 3 games right on their PCs.
While the Playstation Now service is at present available in Europe, support for North America is expected to come very soon.
A time frame for its launch in
India/Asia-Pacific and Africa is at present unknown.
The Playstation Now feature has previously only been available on was the PS4 gaming console, select Bravia TVs and the Playstation  Vita.
Its availability on PCs is definitely a very welcome development.
The PS Now service includes over 400 PS3 titles which includes the likes of God of WarThe Last of Us,Uncharted, Call of Duty etc.
Sony also rolled out a USB wireless adapter for the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller (costs $24.99) which allow gamers connect one wireless DS4 controller to their PCs.
The adapter works on Mac too, however Sony is said to be  “evaluating” Mac support for PS Now.
Sony is currently offering two plans for a PS Now subscription, alongside a 7-day free trial. You can opt for a monthly subscription at $19.99/month or a 3 month subscription at $44.99.
To enjoy the Playstation Now feature on your PC, the following PC configuration are recommended:
  • > Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • > 5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • > 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • > Sound card; USB port

PC gaming is definitely the future, with Microsoft also planning to roll out just about every Xbox One game on Windows as well!!!
