Donald Trump Dumps Android Smartphone For CIA Approved Secure Phone

New United States President - and Tweet champion -Donald Trump has had to give up his Android smartphone as security protocol requires the most powerful man in the United States - and arguably the world - makes use of a more secure mobile device for communication purposes.

Before the outgoing President - Barack Obama - , US presidents were not allowed use of modern smartphones, having to pick from a list of approved, secure devices that are quite uninspiring (options which according to ArsTechnica include devices running the ancient Windows CE).

The first Black US President Barack Obama was having non of the "ancient mobile phone use" rule after being forced to dump his phone, with the SS having to compromise on the situation and provision him with a BlackBerry device which could only send and receive emails from select addresses, could not install apps, make voice or video calls or even pictures! (it was later upgraded to an iPhone).

Trump has given up his Android smartphone which has been replaced by a secure alternative (reported to be an iPhone), however this is unlikely to curn Trump's tweet fingers as the president is known not to use email - preferring to tweet - and loves answering phone calls.

As POTUS, Trump will never make calls from a personal cell phone again. All his calls will be routed through the White House’s switchboards. The White House does have a Twitter handle, one that Trump will be allowed to use.

Trump however still intends to maintain his existing Twitter account, in a bid to “combat media bias” as reported by The Washington Examiner, with president Trump quoted as saying:

“It’s my only way that I can counteract when people make misstatements about me, I’m able to say it and call them out,”
So, we are expecting more tweets from the new president of the United States.

Hopefully, less controversial than what we have become used to.

As for the relinquished Android device, Newseum (a museum dedicated to “the evolution of electronic communication) are hoping to get their hands on it and have put in a request for the device.
